The Road Now Taken
An Adaptation of "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a modern world But they told me I could not travel both So, weighing my options, long I stood Wishing to run down the first road as far as I could Towards creativity and passion and growth
Then took the other, the typical fare The one where I work for others to gain Because it paid well and came with flair Though as for that, those with me there Had nothing to show but toil in vain
Both paths that once before me laid Have taught me so much of want and lack Oh, I should’ve taken the first that very day! Yet when it comes to comfort and benefits and pay The first road was the harder track
But now, I can no longer deny This knowing, this obvious dissonance: Two roads diverged in a modern world, and I’m — I’m now choosing the first road to travel by And that will make all the difference

Take all the roads you can.
