“Oh now that’s cool”
“What are those things”
“Dude reminds me of JD Vance 😑”
“I do not like how this is written”
“The music doesn’t fit. Too orchestral.”
“How can this one guy not be affected?”
“Thank goodness for Emily Blunt’s character.”
“I’ll forgive the rest of it if they nail this part”
“Okay, they nailed this part!”
“So many women doing the right thing to do”
“The silence says so much”
“It is statistically improbable that we are alone”

Contact is still my favorite "are we alone?" movie because it asked the question I keep coming back to: What changes after the truth comes out? My answer has always been... surprisingly little. We'd still have to pay taxes, go to work, and mow the lawn. The universe may become infinitely bigger overnight, but Monday morning still shows up.
Then my X-Files brain kicks in and whispers, "Easy there... has anyone checked whether To Serve Man is a cookbook?" 😆 Go Rod Serling!
